Sits right alongside all my favorite knives. Its in my daily use rotation. Great for quartering fowl. The point is precise but stout and works smoothly into joints to separate them efficiently and with authority. This morning I used it to clean a hambone of usable meat before I made stock for split pea soup. The next time I go to butcher primals I’ll use this knife. The handle is ergonomic and feels natural in my hand. I have great control of the blade and the curve is just right for making smooth sweeping cuts to remove a hide/skin/fat cap. It d imagine it also would be great for separating muscle groups for roasts and steaks. I’ve had it about two weeks and have yet to hone it. Sharp as hell and works great for butchering or cutting hard salami and cheese on my charcuterie board. Looks cool as hell too. Lots of “ooohhs” and “Ahhhs” and the occasional, “Of course you’d have a knife like that.” Great looking and great performing blade. Thanks!

This is a great knife! To be honest they're all great and it's hard to choose so I have purchased almost all of them so far. This knife came in very sharp. I still used my sharpener due to ensuring all burns were removed, but when I cut into my steak the first time, it cut like butter. I am a heavy cooking utensil lover, heavy equals long life! Today as a matter of fact I used my knife to cut a tomato for a BLT sandwich, again cut through the tomato like butter. These are really cool looking functional knifes that should hold their edges very good. I like them, worth the money.

What I received is not what is pictured. The heel of the blade is much wider, the belly is deeper with a more pronounced curve toward a much deeper tip section. The pictured knife has a longer, thinner and much more elegant curve to it.

Both the Promaja and the Sharp Knife look, feel and perform nicely. However I wish you would be upfront and state somewhere in you website that they are in fact made in China. Not that that is necessary bad but the website lead me to believe I was purchasing a knife made by a craftsman or two in a small remote shop.

At last, a knife that actually cuts and can be sharpened. I have struggled with knives in the kitchen all my adult life. So frustrating. This one is awesome. I haven't tried it on meat yet but It slices tomatoes paper thin.
I don't know how to use the whet stone. It didn't come with instructions.
Had I known the knife came with its own canvas sleeve, I would not have ordered the leather one. I plan on ordering more and am already thinking about next Christmas! There's nothing like hand-crafted "anything"

I took this elk hunting and had a chance to use it to gut a nice cow elk. The size and weight is just rite. It has a very sharp blade and seems to keep a real good edge. If you need a good fixed blade knife this is your baby.
