It’s the perfect time to start something new that you haven’t done before! Whether it’s taking up cooking, baking, exercising, video editing, graphic design - whatever it is, this is the sign you’ve been waiting for: do it now. There are so many online courses you can find if you’re looking to study a specific topic or immerse yourself in a specific field, just check out websites like Coursera and Skillshare.
Binge on Netflix
The guilty pleasure we all share. Yes, it may not be the most fulfilling hobby, and it’s not like you gain anything by doing it - but it’s just so fun. Plus, it’s an amazing way to unwind after a long day, and get your mind away from all the negativity we hear on the news all day. Plus, there are so many incredible shows available - it’s almost a crime not to watch them.
Clean up your house
Time for some spring cleaning! If you’ve been avoiding cleaning your house this year, it’s time to do so now. Change up your closet, clean the rooms, empty out your refrigerator and get rid of expired foods. Open up your Tupperware drawer, and finally match the lids to containers. You’ll feel so much better afterward - and your house will be squeaky clean.
Make a list for all the things you’re grateful for
It’s easy to be negative and pessimistic when it feels like everything around you is crumbling according to the news. But don’t let that get to you. Instead, take time out of your day to write down everything you are grateful for, and everything you’re looking forward to once quarantine season is over. Be social while distancing yourself, facetime your family, text your friends and remember that you’re not alone. Everything will be back to normal before you know it!
